Terms of service

The rules for using Vessa. Last updated 3 August 2026.

The service

Vessa lets you create, publish and host interactive brand guidelines. The service is provided by Good Fella Studio GmbH, Wolferding 6, 84137 Vilsbiburg, Germany (HRB 307957, Amtsgericht München, VAT ID DE459966102).

Accounts

You sign in with a magic link sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to that email account secure.

Prices and VAT

A brand and the studio pack are one-time purchases, processed by Stripe. One purchase lets you create one guideline, which you can then publish, edit and republish as often as you like. There is no subscription and nothing renews.

Prices on this site are net. VAT is added at checkout based on where you are, so a buyer in Germany pays 19% on top and €29 comes to €34.51. Checkout shows the final amount before you pay, and Stripe sends the invoice.

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU you have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase, without giving a reason, counted from the day the contract is concluded. To withdraw, tell us in a clear statement. An email to hello@vessa.design is enough. We refund within 14 days of hearing from you, using the payment method you paid with.

One exception, and it is the one that usually applies here. If you ask us to start immediately, which is what creating a brand does, and confirm that you understand you lose the right to withdraw once the brand is created, then the right ends at that moment. Buy a brand and leave it unstarted and the 14 days still apply in full.

Refunds

If a purchase is refunded, what it paid for is withdrawn. A brand created with it is unpublished and locked read-only, so the live page comes off the web and the guideline stays in your account, readable but no longer editable. Nothing you wrote is deleted.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you upload and create. You grant us the limited right to store, process and serve it so we can host and display your guideline.

Fonts and licensing

You are solely responsible for the fonts, images and other assets you upload. By uploading a font file you confirm you hold a license that permits serving it on the web. Vessa does not grant any font license, and using a font on Vessa does not make an otherwise unlicensed use legal. We may remove content that infringes a third party's rights.

The referral program

While Vessa is pre-launch, inviting people to the waitlist can earn rewards. A referral counts when it is a real person with their own email address who joins because you invited them. Self-referrals, aliases of your own inbox, disposable addresses and anything automated do not count.

We check. Referrals that are not real people are removed, together with any rewards they produced, at any time and also after a reward has been granted. Referrals that are real keep counting.

Acceptable use

Do not use Vessa for unlawful content, to infringe others' rights, or to abuse the platform. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited. Mandatory statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Governing law

German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
