Publishing

A guideline in Vessa has two states: a draft you keep working on, and a published page anyone can open.

One payment per brand

Building a guideline is free. Publishing it costs €39 plus VAT. You pay once and that payment puts the brand live at its public URL. From then on you edit, unpublish and republish it for as long as you like. Nothing renews and there is no counter. If you run a studio you can buy five publishes at a time for €195 and use them whenever.

Drafts

Every brand starts as a draft with an unlisted preview URL you can send to a client. That URL is not indexed by search engines, so the work stays between you until you publish.

Going live

  1. Open the guideline in the editor and fill the sections you want.
  2. Toggle sections on or off, and reorder them within the allowed range.
  3. Open the publish panel and choose your URL.
  4. Publish. The page is live immediately at vessa.design/brand/your-brand.

Publishing costs nothing extra. You already paid for the brand, so there is no second charge and nothing to spend.

Taking it down

Unpublish from the same panel and the page is off the web straight away. Nothing you wrote is deleted, and you can publish it again later at the same URL.

A published guideline stays editable. Changes go live when you save.
