A guideline in Vessa has two states: a draft you keep working on, and a published page anyone can open.

Drafts

Every guideline starts as a draft. Drafts are unlimited on every tier and they get an unlisted preview URL you can share with a client. That URL is not indexed by search engines, so it stays private until you publish.

Your free published brand

The free tier publishes one live guideline on a your-brand.vessa.design subdomain. It carries a small Made with Vessa badge in the corner. The page is fully public and stays editable, so you can keep it current after you ship it.

Going live

1. Open the guideline in the editor and fill the sections you want.
2. Toggle sections on or off, and reorder them within the allowed range.
3. Open the publish panel and choose a subdomain.
4. Publish. The page is live immediately.

Removing the badge and using your domain

Publishing costs nothing on the free tier. To remove the badge and attach a custom domain, buy a publish credit (EUR 29 per brand, or EUR 119 for five). See custom domains for the domain setup.

A published guideline stays editable. Changes go live when you save.
